Today is the opening day of Transformers movie right? Deshou? Deshou? Aiyah, I'm actually losing sense of time and important things like this -- thanks to my demanding job. Has anyone seen it? Please tell me if the movie is good. Well, it should be because I heard Spielberg produced it. I wondered though why he didn't direct it himself.
Anyway let's put that aside for now. Death Note time. What a really creepy ending! Obviously, it's quite different from the manga. And Light didn't have to run away like that, with the rest of his team chasing after him. Although personally, his death on the staircase was better than dying at Ryuk's feet inside the yellow box. At least his dying body was bathed in rays of sunlight -- kind of perfect for someone Godly. So, to sum it up, what were the lessons? I think the most important one is to understand the true meaning of justice. I'm not saying I already know what justice is after watching this series, but what I understood, however, is the simple fact that no human can truly attain the power of justice, no matter what the circumstances are. Even if a notebook with the power to control death falls from the sky. Perhaps the ultimate justice is to free yourself from the burden of injustice - make the bitterness 'pale away' by covering it up with happy memories, love and compassion. Think about Kenshin. Just one more episode and Death Note anime will finally be concluded! Thanks to those who have faithfully followed this series despite everything! If you're looking for the decent KH torrent, allow me to re-plug it here.
Argh, I can't wait to rub that ugly smile off Light's face. Oh, I want to reminisce, but I guess that will have to wait until I have seen the final episode. So going back to EP 36, I was glad that no time was wasted. I was literally trembling with anticipation at Light's first and final meeting with Near. And then when he did finally meet him, I felt euphoric. Strangely though, they did not seem surprised after seeing each other's face. I understand Near's indifference since he already had Light's files and photo before, but Light, on the other hand... well I expected him to look at Near and say something like, "Oh, he's just a kid." But he didn't. They were good phone pals after all. Well, Light must really be thinking of nothing else but his impending victory. By the way, Ryuk was never present in any scene. Sorry for the late review. Most of you have probably already heard that a C&D was issued to Kuro Hana two weeks prior to the release of final episode. I was very mad about it, and I really don't care what other people say. This is illegal, That is retarded..
I am mad and you can't dictate how I should feel about the situation. By saying things like that you only add fuel to the fire. This may be an anime blog but Crispleaf is a personal blog as well. I don't encourage people who do not share my opinions to flame here. You can just say your point (yes even contradictory to mine) then leave. But if you give your opinion, I would really appreciate it if you don't add insulting words. Giving opinions and picking a fight are two very different things. I hope you remember that. Otherwise, if you start flaming, even after we already established the fact that we both don't care whatever any of us think -- your comment will simply be deleted and your IP address banned. Well then, let's proceed to discussing Episode 35. The first three minutes of this episode focused solely on the characters who made a significant impact in the overall story. The accompanying background music made me feel gloomy, as if it was saying that we have already reached the point where we can't turn back and what we are seeing is the last glimpse of peace before the ultimate fall of Light Yagami. That alone is a 100%. Also, I think Episode 35 may be compared to a Greek tragedy with betrayal and morbid death as the main elements -- Kiyomi burning herself to death. A very, very, boring episode. I should not have bothered downloading the HQ version. I terribly miss L's presence. Death Note isn't the same without him. *sigh*. Most fangirls have actually dropped this series after his disappearance. Although I'm not really sure whether it's because of him or the storyline has just become dragging [ perhaps both? ]. Whatever the reason is, at this point I'm so impatient to see the last episode. Just three more weeks.
I don't know which part of EP 34 to start, I got so sleepy after watching it.. I'm also not in a good mood because today is the last day of my 1-week vacation leave. Ugh. I hate work. ~__~ There is, however, one thing that made my mind snapped back to life. Click Here. Among other things, I'm allergic to wrong spellings. Oh, there goes my yawn again. Better than EP 32, thanks to Misa-Misa's re-appearance.
Light is oh-so-popular among the girls!! *scratches head*. Think about this: Setting his Kira ego aside, he's just a smart, normal kid. In reality, he may have been a geek or someone cut out for the jdorama Densha Otoko. Unlike L or Near who have been taken by Watari because they were orphans and exceptionally smart. Now in reality, something like that can happen. If Light approaches you and say he's Kira, would you show the same reaction as Kiyomi and Misa? Don't kill me, fans of Light. ^o^ It's Christmas season in EP 33, by the way. Near's fetish over toys and action figures are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too alarming [ I hope I wrote the sentence correctly ]. It doesn't look cute!!!
