The author talks about his prize-winning children's story "Naku! Naku! Nakuuuu!"

 aa

Rhodge: How were you able to conceive the story? Nakuha mo ba ito sa isang real-life experience?

Nanoy: Oo, aktwali ako si Isko. Hahahaha!

Rhodge: Naks, inspired by pala...

Being a Born Again Christian!

this blog is from a close friend of mine... Gen...

Last Sunday at the church, I was informed that I am set for water baptism on Nov 23, 2008.  The feeling of excitement was there from the moment I’ve learned it and still lingers ‘til the evening. But when I was about to sleep that night, in the midst of my solitary moments, questions kept flashing on my mind like “am I worthy to accept the baptism or is Nov 23 is too early for me to get baptize?”.  Though there isn’t a direct answer on my questions, I just put my faith in our Lord that He is in charge.

Does it really need to be baptized in order to live a Christian life?  I still have so many questions and so I keep myself read His words and hope God will work on me. I have been with CFCI for almost two months now and I can tell that I am happy with my new found family and being a born again Christian.

But being a born again Christian, is not just a name it tag along with your actions, living a Christ like image and it is definitely not quiet an easy task, many will hound in your trying moments. Being a Christian, you’ll live up to the standards, seeking God’s word in your daily decisions, living faithfully in HIM through troubles that others may see and witness, and being careful in everything that you do so that others may not fall because of you.

As a human nature, I am struggling to live up a Christian life. My friends who really know “the real Genevieve is” says I have change a lot, yes I admit that I have changed, I have more clearer disposition and meaning in life with God. But I still have inner struggle, I fall short and sometimes I failed to pray, to read His words because of my laziness.

But one thing, I am thankful to our Lord is that no matter how irresponsible, impatient I am at times He keeps me reminded of His unfailing love. Good thing being a Christian is that I am now aware of God’s promises and the consciousness of what sin is.

God is doing something good, it may not be clear for now but with faith, I just know that it is good. So on November 23, 2008, I am committing my life to HIM as my only Savior and just like an obedient child to his father.

My life will begin on my baptism, so be it God.

Happy Bday, Alexa!

d d

I really love going to a handaan sa probinsya.

Biro nga ng ilang kamag-anak, made by a German sa Japan ang bata.

Haha!

qq

Hehehe. Ang bad ko.

LoVe...

can make u smile,

can make u cry,

can make u bleed

but all the while you have to breath...

just a four letter word,

saying it is so easy,

but living with it takes a lot...

better reserve it

to the right person

at the right time

Blog Stars

Star-strucked.

Papable!

Si Sir Gibbs, ang eloquent! Ang kinis ng face! Natakot ako mag-English at baka ma-correct ako.

Natuwa naman ako at nakita ko rin si Benjamin Pimentel, who wrote the novel Mga Gerilya sa Powell Street (na on-going play sa CCP, adapted by Rody Vera).Na-threesome siyang interviewhin nina Sir Exie, Sir Walter Ang, at Sir Joey Ting.

Inabot ng past 6 PM ang meeting, tapos meeting uli with Sir Elmar over dinner. Hehe.

I'm loving my new job! Sobra!

***

Pupunta ako kina Kuyatot mamaya. A-attend kami ng first birthday celeb ng inaanak niya. Sana maraming handa!

***

On spending, Pinoy-style

I will be meeting Sir Elmar at Starbucks-Vito Cruz later at 11, then diretso kami sa meeting sa Cultural Center of the Philippines by 1:30 PM naman. Hehe.

Kada 10 minutes me pumapasok na bagong customer.

(Napabili ako ng Indiana Review 25 Years Anniv edition.

Are we a unique case in this crazy planets (sic)?
