i got here early to turn in my resignation letter this morning. i'm getting a new job offer and gives me a 60% raise from what i currently make. i didn't think twice about it. but it does involve having my family move to a city that's two hours of drive away from where i currently live. i thought everything is going to move as planned until i tried to turn in my resignation letter this morning and my boss wants to make a counter offer. he doesn't know how much he can counter offer coz he needs to talk to his superiors. but i seriously did not think this was gonna happen. now that just complicates everything and i have to consider a different possibility. i know i should be happy but i'm really freaked out right now.

I took three assessments from brainbench on HTML, javascript and java last night for a recruiter. I'm surprised that they actually let you know the results. But I got these in my email this morning.

so far i've only been reading some documentations on their new software. no hands on tasks given yet. they are bringing in my own computer. no need to deal with this temp slow machine any more.

today is my first day coming to the new environment. i will bring my camera with me to give you a tour of my work place some other day. don't think it's appropriate to do it on the first day. i haven't been given any work yet. i will finish my orientation with my boss soon. everyone seems to be very nice and i really like it so far.
