I passed my driving test! At the test centre with the lowest pass rate in scotland. In the winter. On a rainy day. I was the only person to pass out of the group of eight who took the test at my time.

Of course, I am five years older than them all.

You know, one of the sillier rules on the british driving test is that even if your lane is clear you have to wait until the entire oncoming side of the roundabout is clear before you can go.

I think if I adhered to that on the etoile I would wither and die at the bottom of the avenue de le gradne armee...

CONGRATS!!! Driving is fun and quite liberating when you realize you can just get in the whip and burn. Although, I would suggest taking it easy on the burn part until you get your road legs. Kudos!
