Dear all,
I've lost the thrill to write about my Jak- Bali trip after failing to upload my pics on this dum dum tabulas. Sigh. But anyways I'll try to update as much as I can remember. Im bad at details.
But I must say I had a blast. This was definately a good one week break from working late and on weekends!
Urm I dont' have the flair for writing and to avoid any grammatical error (which Im sure I already have) and bad spelling I'll spare you from going "urgh! wrong spelling" or "huh, what are you trying to say" I'll leave you with some pics from my trip and probably some description.
So we actually flew to Jakarta first to attend one of Gabe uni mate's wedding. Im telling you their wedding was something! It was really grand and different. Buffet style

We were done by 930.
Honestly if it wasn't for that wedding, we wouldn't have been in Jak. But I'm glad I visited Jak JUST so that I'll warn others about the CRAZY traffic and dusty environment.
But they do have pretty cool malls with tiled parking lots!

Okay, so next time when you hear about this rich indonesian kid, you HAVE to know that they are VERY rich.

No kidding.
But then there is also those who lives in poverty and begs on the street.

This guy goes ard playing his guitar when car stops for traffic to beg for money. They are everywhere even in the city. That shows how slow the traffic was that ppl can actually walk up to you to sell you stuff on a HIGHWAY.
But thank God we only had to endure that for 2 days and we were OFF TO BALI

WORLDS apart!
Bali was clean, neat and proper. And the cool breeze from Australia (winter) was perfect!

Upon arrival we had these little girls dressed up in their tradisional clothings greeting us by placing a flower on our head.
So the next few days were jsut makan, sight seeing, beach activities and shopping!

(shopping ar denpasar)

(we had "bebek" duck at this really beautiful looking restaurant)

(then off to Tanah Lot where the famous floating temple was and to watch the sunset)

(beach view from out hotel)

(babi guling- most balinese are hindus. so ya was kinda weird seeing dark skin malay look alike eating pork!)

(with the kecak dancers after the show. It's one of their many famous dance in Bali.)
SO after all that fun, we flew back to Jak for another night before leaving for KL for a couple of days and that was it!!! MY HOLIDAY!!! GONE!!!
Now is back to late nights and working on weekends. SIgh!!! Already looking forward to my Bangkok trip in Nov hahahah.
But thank God for the great weather, great company and journey mercy (thank God my plane didn't crash. i was soooo nervous taking an indon domestic flight after hearing so many crashes lol) And talk about being blessed, most of meals were paid for :D
