Of HSM and Trick or Treat

Posted by juvenile at 02:08 PM

Yesterday, I went to Eastwood to: 1) watch High School Musical 3: Senior Year and, 2) to support Ria in her attempts to be a part of the Marketing team through the annual Trick or Treat.

I like the movie. Zac and Corbin were hot! Vanessa's much much prettier here than in the 2nd movie. Ashley and Ryan were sooo cute! I love all their outfits! As usual, I like the songs! My favorites are "Right Here, Right Now", "Can I Have This Dance", "Just Wanna Be With You" and of course, Vanessa's emo song "Just Walk Away". Time to load up mu iPod and memorize the new songs again! Haha! Call me weird but I got sad after watching the movie. Affected?!? Yeah. Seriously, I love the HSM series- movies and songs alike. So now that it's over, I feel like I'm also graduating and saying goodbye to my HSM phase. Haha! I mean sure, there are talks of another movie coming out but I don't see the point cos the movie will no longer have Troy, Gabriella and the rest of the gang. And, I don't like the newbies (especially the new Sharpay- she ain't cute!). Now, the Twilight countdown really starts!

After the movie, I met up with the Eastwood peeps (both past and current) for the Trick or Treat. The dogs were sooo cute! Much cuter than the children. Haha, no kidding! Lo and behold, they lack manpower so Vanessa and I gamely offered our services and joined the activity. The funny thing is, Vanessa and I (both ex-emplyees) ended up in the same group- WITHOUT anybody from the current Eastwood team. Haha laugh trip! We led the kids through Citywalk 2, Cybermall then Citywalk 1. It was sooo funny cos the tenants (and the kids! not the parents and yayas though. grrrr. mga pasaway.) listened and cooperated with us even if they don't know our faces. It was the first time (well, since I resigned) I went around Eastwood that long and mehn, was I tired. Yeah weakling alert. We were aking Ria to buy us some dinner in exchange for our services but unfortunately, they have no budget. Haha! Some things never change... However, we went home with 13 bags of Hershey's chocolates so it ain't bad after all. Last night, Vanessa and I realized that we do miss working in Their City. Especially during fun events like the Trick or Treat. Our current jobs don't offer the physical stress that Eastwood events present. Haha! However, we remembered how even after a year of resignation, we still saw Eastwood as a workplace and not as a chill place... We decided that its better now when we can just go there to relax and feel good that we no longer work there. If ever we miss the Eastwood work, we're sure the Marketing team will gladly let us help. We'll just stick to that (read: no KLT involved. hahaha!).

While I'm in a BU meeting...

Posted by juvenile at 11:22 AM

It's the time of the month again when the whole IPG sits together for a whole day to discuss that this and thats of our respective businesses. Luckily, compared to last month's, this meeting seems to be a lot lighter. In fact Ms. Jen said that we can finish after lunch. Truth be told, I don't care what time we finish. I'm not feeling bored at the moment anyway so I don't mind staying here. Besides, I'm trying my damn best to avoid getting the call from my boss in Singapore. Hahaha!

I can't wait for November! Rihanna-Chris Brown!!! Boracay!!! Twilight!!! Edward Cullen!!! Woohoo!!!

***

I'm thinking about my Christmas wish list already. Weird enough, I can't seem to think of things I want. I think I'm stuck at around 8 things only. Probably because most of my wishes are mostly non-material things. Bwahaha! But I'll make sure to finish that and post it soon.

***

I have a question that I cannot answer. Actually, 2 questions pala. One, what do I really want? Two, am I okay enough to do this? If only I can answer them... Huhuhu...

I lurve my new notebook!

edward cullen...

Posted by juvenile at 01:47 PM

i heart you! hahaha!!!

i started reading twilight a week ago. finished it in the morning of october 1 (ramadan). finished new moon by midnight of october 2. haha! so yeah, i finished reading the 2nd book in 1/2 day. in case you're wondering why i was that fast, i kept reading and reading even though my head hurt cos... i was anticipating edward's reappearance in the story. if i had known that he will reappear in the 400th plus page pa, i would have stopped earlier. haha! im reading eclipse now and i plan to finish it tonight. and then, breaking dawn. woohoo!

its a lazy monday morning. i am not in the mood whatsoever to work. so i spent the morning watching twilight trailers in youtube. also searched for some movie images. hahaha! addict na ako! cant wait for november 21!!! its a date with obie! 1 1/2 months to go!!!

because of edward cullen, human beings have seem to lost their charm. aside from the fact that edward was described as a Greek god (beautiful face and perfect body to boot!), its hard to imagine someone will guard you and protect you and make sure you're not hurt... forever. that someone is as selfless as him who just wants you safe and happy all the time. who is willing to die just to keep you alive. who is willing to die just in case you leave him. who tells you that life aint worth living without you in it... and actually mean it! never mind if he is as cold as ice, doesn't eat, doesn't sleep, has no heartbeat and drinks blood. such a welcome change from all the assholes and jerks in the real world whose main purpose in life is to hurt you and make life hell for you.

i was chatting with wilyam a while ago. he is amused with the fact that both me and his girlfriend (and my friend), mary, are gushing over edward cullen. he thinks its kindda stupid considering he is a fictional character. true, true. its pointless and childish. but hey, sometimes its worth going a bit crazy and think about the world of fantasy if it means escaping, even just temporarily, this sucky world of reality.

Posted by juvenile at 03:27 PM

i have 2 UNSURE upper A tickets for tomorrow's game. my cousin is selling me 2 SURE upper B tickets. thing is, i dont know if i want to get the UB tickets. kasi pag nakuha ko ung UA ko, i have to sell the UB tix and they are kindda expensive so im unsure if i will be able to sell them. pero, pag di nagpull through ung source ko sa UA, biglang wala akong tickets so parang security tix ko dapat ung UB. ano gagawin ko? argh! help!!! bottom line: dapat may ticket ako. hahahaha!

PS. hope ateneo wins tomorrow para tapos na ang kaguluhan sa tickets. nightmare ito pagdating ng game 3 eh. hahaha! go ateneo, one big fight!
