Hi There

Hello all, sorry I haven't updated this thing in a while. Unfortunately I've been pretty busy, having recently started a very diffficult summer class. I hope to get another podcast up soon, probably another musical one. (yes I know, you're probably getting bored with those by now) In a few weeks I'll be podcasting from the National Federation of the Blind's anual convention, being held this year in Dallas. I plan on getting quite a bit of recording done so you can look forward to that. In the meantime, leave a comment on the tagboard or email me any feedback or suggestions you might have.

This was a really fun show to work on and I enjoyed compiling the music and reading what you guys have to say about the cast so far. Glad to see so many favorable reactions. Blogging (or podcasting) Against Disablism Day

Hi all, sorry I've been so inactive on here lately, but things've been busy between school and Easter and everything else. I do plan to get the listener feedback podcast up this weekend. Meanwhile, check this out.
 Blogging Against Disablism Day

I think this is a great oppurtunity for all of us bloggers and podcasters, disabled or not, to discuss our experiences with discrimination, the public's perception of us, and hopes for the future. I plan to do a podcast on these topics and if you have a blog or podcast and would like to participate, you should too. If you're participating, let me know and I'll put a link to your site in here.
Thanks, Kerri

Shownotes and More

Two podcasts in two days, how cool is that? Well here's the shownotes for you.
This is Just to Say: a phone post made on my brand new LGVX 5200 phone from Verizon from the cafeteria at school. I talk a little about the phone, which includes some features that make it more accessible to blind folks like me, and discuss this very site.
Chaturday: My friends and fellow podcasters Megan and Hope join me via Skype for this episode. We were going to see if Wave Pad (my sound editor/recorder of choice) would record Skype calls, but since that didn't seem to work I whipped out my Braille Note and recorded our convo on there instead. We discuss music, websites, Hope's recent trip to NY, and their podcasts, both of which you can find in the links section. Or, I can link you to them right now. Check out Meg's Melange of Random Ramblings at
http://www.livejournal.com/mmrrpodcast
or look into the Audio Mirror with Hope at
http://www.musicofhope.libsyn.com
You can find these two podcasts of mine in the Recent episodes, or go to
http://www.gcast.com/u/krisme
or
http://feeds.feedburner.com/klfe
Ok, that's quite enough links for one entry!
Speaking of links, I'm working on making the links list on this site even bigger than it already is, so if you have any favorite Internet radio stations, blogs, podcasts, or anything else you don't see in the links list, sign the tagboard and let me know.
