i feel like i lost a couple of months of my life. i've been reading some of my older entries, and i like that, reminiscing on what happened in the past. it connects me to who i used to be, and it helps me see if i'm becoming a better person.
that said, im probably moving out of tabulas, it's dead. maybe i'll go back to livejournal, i dunno really.
i need contact lenses, my glasses look hilarious on my face.

A couple of years ago, I discovered this little website called Pandora. It was an internet radio, that evolved to your listening preferences. It would track if you liked a song (because you listened to it in full) or if you didnt (because you skipped it). they called it the music genome project. pretentious bastards. (side note: i have this habit of inserting sentences or phrases i read in books or hear in movies into real life conversations. like the preceding sentence. haha. i will also use mayhap later on in this entry. haha.)
it was a fucking orgasm, i tell you. yes, yes i'm a geek. but that's a given.
anyway, fast forward a couple of months, and i find out that pandora is no longer legal to be played outside the us. they say they're working on it, and i wait.
for 5 fucking years. bastards. i check back yesterday, out of sheer randomness, and it's still fucking only legal in the states. well no more waiting. im a bit more.. adept with the intarweb now, and i google internet radios, and streaming radios, and go to wikipedia (this place is great, i tell you. dont listen to any of the rubbish that it's full of wrong information. at least one of our econ professors actually tell us to use this as a springboard for thesis related literature. why, just last week i wikipediad (sp?) donuts, and it says there if you eat 3 donuts a day for 2 weeks, in addition to your normal food intake, you'll lose ten pounds. it's on the internet, it must be true. but i digress) and i find a list of websites similar to pandora. i go through slacker, since the name sounds kinda funky, but it's illegal to play outside the states too. so scratch that.
then i find last.fm, and i fall in love.
you see, im more of a passive listener. i like what i hear, but i dont know who sang it, or what the lyrics are. i normally ever listen to music on the way to school, and i dont have the effort in me to download songs, so this is perfect. it works waaaaaay better than pandora ever did, and they also have a player you can download. really awesome shit.
the bad news is, im slowly finding out what my real music preferences are, and it is quite.. disappointing. hhaha. akala ko cool ako. hindi pala.
at any rate, after five months, im blogging again. i might move back to livejournal, seeing as how this place is dead, and multiply never really did it for me. at any rate, i'll figure it out tomorrow. or when i next update.
anyway, as promised, here it is:

gusto ko dapat bumili ng ps3 dati. naaalala ko naguusap pa kami ni lazaro paano makakuha ng ps3 from the states, pero in the end, i decided to just wait and see.
bumili ako ng wii nung birthday ko. sabi kasi ni erik ok raw siya, tapos nagresearch naman ako sa internationalwebnetwork at parang ok nga naman. mura pa! tapos nakakita ako ng video sa multiply ng dalawang magsyota na naglalaro ng wii tapos parang enjoy na enjoy sila. that was the gamebreaker right there. haha. i knew i was going to get a wii.
pero kahit may wii na ako, gusto ko pa rin malaman ano yung feeling ng maglaro ng PS3. i had this feeling that if i played a PS3, i would be all like "tangina, bakit ako bumili ng wiii. waaaaah. tangina sayang! dapat nag-ipon na lang ako!" but i played with a ps3 last saturday in fed's house, and my reaction was like "meh."
all it had was pretty graphics. it was like playing with a ps2 na mas maganda yung graphics. that was it.
so super saya ko na hindi ako bumili ng ps3. ang sulit ng wii grabe! haha. fun talaga. tapos ngayon mga 18k na lang siya, converted na yun!

idiot american military mistakenly flies an airplane ARMED WITH 6 NUCLEAR BOMBS. jesus christ. they were supposed to transport the bombs from one base to another, and instead of putting them in the cargo hold or some such thing, they arm it and put it on the wings.
jesus. we are all seriously going to fucking die. because of idiots.

in other news, i told my brother we met arnold of putr3ska, a ska band from the 1990s, and he goes "putres? diba gay lingo yun?"
haha. he did this practical joke about soap on his friends a few months ago and just recently told me about it. about soap. hahaha. he's learning fast. i'm making myself a dale clone.

6 days of no school. hahaha. parang midterm break. seriously, dapat may ganun talaga. after all the midterms, isang linggong walang pasok. pang-recharge! grabe, ang galing ni egay.
so what have i been up to? well, since hindi pwedeng lumabas kasi sinabihan na ako ng tatay ko na wag lumabas, and i dont want to be getting on anybody's bad side these days, i just stayed at home and kept my self busy. problem is, ang daming pagkain sa bahay. and i ran out of oatmeal and bread. so i had to eat rice and all the good cooking my mama did. result? i gained 7.5 pounds over the 6 days.
sige na, sige na, baboy na nga. hahaha. ang sarap kasi eh. my mama cooked ginataan twice in that timeframe, lugaw once, then laing. we had hotcakes for breakfast once, and a whole lot of rice and fried animals. it was great. haha. im going out to buy oatmeal tomorrow. :D
speaking of which, i bought a big jar of green olives after my father insisted they were better than black olives.
no. they aren't. hahaha. still, after my father told me they were great with kaldereta, i've been eating olives nonstop with any form of tomato sauce based ulam. haha. pwede. 
oh yeah, you know how it is when it's raining sometimes the internet gets fucked up? well, our internet got fucked good. haha. in a good way ah. i woke up wednesday, with the rain pouring down and my torrent downloader was downloading games at 120-150kbps. hahaha. it was hilarious. i normally download at 30-40kbps tops. so this was crazy. i don't have pictures to prove it, i forgot to print screen. but the effect hasnt gone away totally yet, so i took this shot an hour or so ago, to prove that there is something seriously wrong right with my internet connection:

went to aaron's house yesterday for some drinks and chips and kwentuhan. tumatanda na tayo mga chong. ang hina na natin uminom. haha.
and tomorrow, i'll cap off my 6 day break with the two most special people in my life. hahaha.
2-4pm with hershey in timog for a little candlestick seminar. haha.
then 6pm to sawa with mixka. sawa? mahirap ata yun, may exam pa ako bukas. haha.
