Fucking broke. For some reason my dad seems to think the 200 a month he he seems to give me is more than enough. Eating bread and peanut butter for dinner if aunt isn't cooking.
What the hell man. Doesn't matter, I have a blipping huge headache anyway. It's kinda sad that peanut butter and bread would probably taste better than anything I could cook even if there was food in the house.
[ At which point I decided my head hurt too much, I went upstairs, slept, and I woke up about 3 hours later...my aunt IS cooking after all, thank goodness ]
I didn't get enough sleep, but woke up after a while cause ants were biting me. Why the fuck do they bother to come all the way to me just to give me a nip is a mystery.
=====
I was at Minishort's site and was wondering.....What's the big deal?
Why can't the words Deepavali and Hari Raya be combined to Deepa Raya? I personally think it's quite cute, besides both festivals are happening at the same-ish time, no?
If anything it reminds me of friendly kids holding hands. Then next thing I know, I see two extremely pissed off Muslim bloggers dissing it. Is this against the Qaran or something? I don't know much about Islam. I do know this though: I don't get what the big deal is.
Someone Muslim tell me this: Is there anything wrong with combining Hari Raya with Deepavali? And by wrong, I mean stated somewhere in holy scripture. Adam? Fip?
Or was Menj just being assy?

Creative writing class today was cool. We handed in our final personal monologues (I wrote about some bloggers being too egotistical, sike). After that, Bernice wanted us to learn how to do dialogues, so she gave us a list of characters to pick, like:
Cheerleader and nerd
Angel and devil on someone's shoulder
Psychiatrist and guy on ledge
Prostitute and client
I'd have LOVED to do psychic guy and nervous housewife
Anyhow, my partner was Aina, a girl I intimidated from the first day of class -_-". We picked cheerleader and nerd. At first, I was the totally blond cheerleader girl (because blondes are one of the most discriminated against minorites, so what could be more fun?) and she was the male nerd.
Then she decided I was too annoying as cheerleader bimbo because I kept insisting he wash his hair with me at the hair salon (I had to go because my hair was....too shiny....today). Then I insisted he try out for cheerleading and come over to my place to practice. Which Aina totally mistook for a hint to sex. Hem, hem. Of course, I had no idea where that came from. Heh.
Then we switched roles, and I became nerd called Janeane (the irony), nasty female nerd with endless supply of putdowns for Aina's character, a gay male cheerleader called...Manny.
Aina did this hilarious thing that went "Oh I'm too FBI for you, too CIA, too Interpol!"....And I was just watching her like ?????? What the fuck you going on about woman?? I thought it was hilarious though.

I think I have a fever. *Groan* I have so many assignments to do it's not funny. Working. Working. Working. Everyday I go to college my workload gets crazier.
Yknow what's fucked up? My lecturers and classmates were comparing different colleges. Mainly One Academy, MIA (Malaysian Institute of Art), LUCT (lim kok wing) and Cenfad.
I am originally from LUCT. The workload there, I used to bitch about. I have no idea why, it's ridiculously low compared to what I have now in Cenfad.
Then my lecturers - who taught at MIA - say that MIA and One Academy have a heavier workload than we do. In fact, One Academy has even less time than we do to finish our work.
I asked the difference between MIA and Cenfad, and was told that basically while MIA has some conceptual stuff, they're not as concept driven as Cenfad. Instead, they concentrate more on doing big projects and by the end of the year they'll have their portfolio built up. Then he said Cenfad students usually start building up their portfolios by 2nd year.
Then he hinted that in 2nd year, Cenfad student quality could be better, though by the time we graduate, our portfolio should probably be stronger than MIA's students (I'm assuming he's talking in averages).
Ah well. One day I should do a page and list all the things I've heard before, and let you people especially those who want to go for art school here, judge for yourselves.

Suggested to Bernice that she start a blog, since Sharon Bakar has one too (plus it's lovely to think of how many stalkers I could send her way).

"Little things affect little minds." ~ Benjamin Disraeli.
The deepa-raya non-issue shows what kind of mind you have. But it's good that you will spend this much effort on such an 'issue'. Let the others handle the important issues, as you obviously can't handle them.

Don't think he'll approve that. =)

10 dollars a day: RM4 travel one way, hitch ride / walk back the other, RM4 food 1 meal lunch in college, eat maggi mee or whatever is at home for dinner if aunt is not cooking. RM2 - save up for assignment materials or whatever.
And if my uncle gives me a ride I save money.
