New gig

If you've noticed the radio silence I've maintained on this blog for the past few months, I'm sorry. But let me assure you that it's not been without reason. I've been working on a new project for awhile, and we're really close to rolling it out.
Two years ago, I worked with a group of friends to reconstitute an organization called Emerging Tar Heel Leaders. In that time, ETHL has slowly been working to build a network that allows young professionals to become more involved in the state's public life.
In less than a week, ETHL will officially roll out a blog, that I've been working to build. We're tentatively calling it Ideas Emerging, and myself and others will work to create a clearinghouse for information about engagement, trends, and ideas that focus on innovation and public life in North Carolina.
In the next few weeks, look for book reviews, interviews with entrepreneurs, and analysis and advice from a whole bevy of young leaders and doers. I really hope you'll take some time to check it out.
