 Our team joined, and ended up going for third place. Congrats team *i'm.Razer, and a shoutout to team mates Apek, Bril, Bill, Alfons and subtitute Hanafie. Only 8 teams went to the playoffs which was done by a bracket style, bo3 series. The prelims as a groupstage. Each group has 8 teams each, and only 2 per group will go to the playoffs.

I can still remember the times when I was in the Philippines last year, more specifically in my school. Philippines is a fast-paced place, and almost have no time for relaxation and all, but me and my "barkada" (group of friends) managed it.

It was February 13 at that time. It was almost Feb 14, S.A.D. (Single Awareness Day) for me because it was only more than a month before that when I was heart broken (to cut a long story short, my girl and I broke up, but we got back again somewhere in March).

Morning of that day, my best friend came to my dormitory to wake me up and said, "Hey Diws, wanna go with me to U.P. (University of the Philippines) with me to visit some of my friends? They have a fair there later at night." A fair is a time when most schools in the Philippines have rides like the Octopus, Ferris Wheel and all, as well as arcade games, dota/PS2/Magic: The Gathering tournaments, basketball, dancing, singing competition, fashion shows and all. It usually has a span of 3 days.

Anyway, I didn't hesitate to agree with my best friend. It was very funny, though. This guy used to be the loner of our whole class; fact is, during the first semester, our class barely sees him outside the classrooms. During second sem, though, this guy and I quickly became friends (thanks to DotA, among others, and a lot of more interests), and soon became best of friends, forming our dota clan before. He's almost like a complete opposite of my lively behavior, but we got along so well.

Now, it was about 5:00 at that time if I remember correctly when I picked up Jian in McDonald's with my car (thanks to me, my car has a lot of scratches), and went straight to his friends' dormitory. Of course, we walked around U.P. a bit first, say hi to some familiar faces, and moved on.

By the time we went into jis friends' dorm, 3 girls already said hi to him and me. One of them was like, wow... This girl's my type. O_O She's so energetic and so kind, as well as have those vivid expressions everytime we talk. We got along so well at that night. ^_^ Jian, you bastard, who would've ever thought that you have her as your friend? :p

Anyway, we all went to the fair venue of the school now - the University's enormous, btw. My previous school was as big as a large village, but UP was like 5x bigger - and I made sure that she was beside me while I was driving so we could talk more. When we got to the venue, it was really fun! We rode the ferris wheel, ate some fair food, has some henna tattoo, and I even treated them all to a pizza since it was only 10 days ago when I celebrated my birthday.

Several bands played that night, and we all also played around and walked around a lot at that time too while pulling jokes and doing crazy stuffs (hey, you guys know me). We departed at about 3:00 already in the morning, and had to get ready because we still have school at 9:00 a.m. We waved goodbye to them, and went straight to our dormitories.

I thanked Jian at that time. It was him who cured me during that time when I needed some "space" and wistful thinking. Up to now, that crazy guy's still a great friend of mine, and even if he doesn't go with the class or even talk to a lot since he's a self-proclaimed loner, that guy just made all of my previous pains go away. Kudos to you bro.
