well it's almost 11am.. and here's what i've done so far..
i hardly was able to sleep last night..
was so just excited for today
i think i slept way past 12am then had a half-awake half asleep state until maybe 1am
then woke up before 6am, before my alarm rang! hehe
then i did some stretching (its important for the amount of food i'm going to take in this day)
then had a short devotion courtesy of Charles Spurgeon about reigning with Christ one day
then i prepared my things for the day ahead..
so the first stop was bellevue for buffet breakfast with Lea coz Erwin can't come due to work
i managed to bungle bringing batteries for the camera so i had to walk to 7-11 to buy a new pair
had a great breakfast!!
found a new favorite combo: bacons + salad + dressing + cream cheese = YUM YUM!!!
hehe
then i tried their wifi.. well that didn't happen.. for some reason i wasnt able to connect to their wifi
so we came here to gonuts to connect to the net..
it's a good thing they have free wifi here. =)
so that's it for now..
time is 11:48 am, the following day..
after gonuts, we went to ATC so that i could get my spa treatment. hehe
however i found out that they were now open 1:30PM to 9PM i think. so i had to do something else in between while Lea go ther eyebrows threaded..
after the wait i finally got my shiatsu massage.. i managed to take a drink of their hot ginger tea. it was nice and sweet..
after getting my body pampered, i was happy to see Lea waiting for me wiht my gift: a coffee container(i can't remember right now what the exact term is) it's soo nice. =) it has a nice black color. and it even came with free coffee!
then we went to find me a bday shirt.. after going round and round, we finally bought one at Robinson's.
then it was time for the Coffee Bean drink of the day.. i got the large Extreme ice blended coffee.. oh and we passed by BreadTalk as well..
after that it was time to go back home and pick up Lea's Mom so that we could eat out at this nice Filipino resto in WestGate called Kanin Club. It was a good thing Carlo (from church) recommended it. Otherwise we would have probably been disappointed with the buffet line at Leslies.
It was a nice meal all in all. We tried the crispy dinuguan, shrimp in cococnut sauce, vegetable kare-kare and topped it off with their special turon with ube ice cream on top.. what a way to end a day full of non-stop eating! =)

This is a stickied, favorite post.
just got married last june 30, at my church - Jesus, the Good Shepherd Church of Muntinlupa.
And then on July 5, we're off to our honeymoon in Australia. Hopefully we could attend even just one day of the HillSongs Conference there. But we're definitely going to go one Sunday to worship there.
oh and btw, here is the official wedding blog that i've been keeping for a couple of months now. i wasn't able to update it very often. But i hope to post more wedding pictures there as well as pictures and blogs from Australia in the future. Lea hopefully will post some blogs there as well. =)
Thanks for everyone who came and greeted us!
God bless you all!

In less than a week's time, I'll be turning 31. For some people, birthday's come and go and without fanfare. Others need to celebrate it with a whole lot of people. As for me, it's that one day of the year when I focus on myself and what i'd like to do to feel special. So right now, I'm thinking of maybe some other things that I could do to pamper myself that day.
My to do list would be:
1. eat a buffet breakfast at a hotel
2. go to a spa
3. drink a venti or biggest size of cold coffee that i can find while reading a nice new book
4. eat one of those designer ice creams
5. play a game on a PS3 or XBOX360.
6.
Well that's all that I can think of right now. I'm still thinking of something more meaningful or profound that I could do as well. hehe
Oh and of course, those things won't be the same without my wife Lea with me. Well all of those and maybe the spa and the game. She's not allowed to have the spa coz she's still pregnant. Maybe next year though. =)

I wasn't able to attend, but I was able to encourage my churchmates to come. And they managed to get included in the pictures that the Passion Blog posted.

so here i am again blogging..
just so happened that Lea attended a bridal shower. and i happen to just decide on going to go nuts donuts for some coffee. what do you know, the tech guy here somehow decides to offer me to help them out with wife problem by telling me they have free wifi access here. yehey!
and somehow i realize that i miss blogging. i miss having time to collect my thoughts and throwing them here at cyberspace. and wondering if my voice here would be heard again.
sometimes i just feel a compulsion to write. to simply express myself. one lament that i have since i started preaching is that i haven't really written much. oh yes of course i wrote down notes and paragraphs of what i have to say, but to actually write something down that doesn't involve me needing to say what i wrote down, well i miss that.
i miss just writing stuff and then leaving them there. it's just there to be read, not to be spoken.
i think Lea and I share this. we speak and we write. and somehow the writer is an expression of who we are when are not ourselves physically. we miss simply talking in straight english because there's a personality that reveals itself when we do. and it's not about impressing each other with our vocabulary, it's just that the train of thought is somehow different and we are able to communicate to each other in a different level.
for some people english is a medium to communicate with while at work. for some english is a way to show how smart they are. for some it's a necessity. for some its for show. and for some its just another way to express who we are right now- filipinos blended with coffee and american culture. =)
