Busy week.

It has been a busy and stressful week.... and it's only the beginning.

I know it's stress when I can actually feel it - the tightness and tension around my head and eyes are clear signs.

Anyway, let's just hope the coming week would be a better one.

On the other hand, I went white water rafting yesterday! Just an hour's drive from the city lies a quiet town called KKB where the rapids can go as high/tough as level 5!

Lenny, Jeremy and myself went and boy, we had an AWESOME time!

We even had the priviledge of one of the organisers on our raft who had his waterproof-ed camera with him (he reminds me of Jong Chern. Haha!). I'm sure when we get hold of those pics, we would appear the most in that album! Heh heh!

My dad's birthday today. (Was, actually... It's past midnight).

Happy Birthday Papa!

Painful.

A pimple appeared yesterday.... on my eyelid.

And it hurts when I blink.

pain, pain, go away...

Tis the season to be SUPER busy.

Christmas is my favourite time of the year.

And it's also one of the busiest times of the year.

Like REALLY busy.

One step at a time YM, one step at a time....

I joined a walk!

I've always wanted to participate in a walkathon/marathon, or any type of walk.

My colleague and I decided to do just that. We signed up/volunteered (actually, sort of asked...) to join the annual Batik Fun Walk!

The Star was the official paper, so we were sort of the "representatives" I guess. Haha. There were two to three others as well.

Funny how I didn't hesitate in signing up, knowing I had to wake up at 6+am because the walk would start at 7:30am on Sunday!

I should have known. Malaysians never keep to their word if they said the walk was suppose to start at 7:30am...

When it finally started, off we went... walking and talking. It was good time bonding with Ms Sara K. Being seated at different sections in the office was difficult to hang out. So, this walk turned out to be a great getting-to-know-you-better session!

Oh, as both of us are church-goers, we couldn't/didn't finish the walk. Actually, we decided not to la.

Har dee Har har!

Well, we can't be late for church, righhhttt?

Anyway, we've already lent our support and sacrficed our precious beauty sleep. And I think that's good enough. *grins*

ED - TV series

Star World showed a new tv series called October Road just now. I thought it was quite interesting.

Though the actors lack depth and character, I think it's a nice change from the usual scandalous series that involve sleeping around, sleeping around and more sleeping around and not getting any STDs from sleeping around.

Anyway...

Watching October Road reminded me a lot of a show I used to watch way back when in college.

Good ol' Ed.

Apart from "24" or "ER", "Ed" is another TV show that only has two letters.

Heard of Ed? Ed, the lawyer? Stuckyville? Stucky Bowl? No?

Oh man! You missed out on one of the nicest TV series ever!

I like Ed. He's funny. Natural. Smart. Charming. I like him for him.

Ed was shown on NTV7 in 2002 I think. I can't really remember how I got to know about the show. Maybe I stumbled upon it while watching TV. But what I know is that after watching an episode, I was drawn to it.

And I think Eunice liked it too.

There's something about the show that lures us back to watch for more. The story was very interesting and the characters were brilliant.

I even searched and downloaded (or sort of got someone) the theme song! Next Year by Foo Fighters. Yup! I loved the show THAT much!

It's sad that "Ed" ended in 2004. I think I only got to watch half of season 2 because NTV7 decided not to screen it anymore. Grrr.

I really want to get hold of all the seasons. I want the box set. But knowing how unpopular this show is, I'm not sure how I'm gonna get it. *sigh*

That's going in to the wish list for sure.
